Cherise Fearless 2010

Having run out of #23 "Cherise" nail polish for my newest piece, I scoured 5 of the city's Shoppers' to find more. Nothing. At the last one I glanced frantically around as if perhaps the lady behind the beauty county had set them aside for me, or perhaps there was a sale stand full of #23 Cherise just for me.

After inquiring as to the wear abouts of #23 Cherise, the lady explained that it was a "Spring Colour" and the manufacturer had picked up every last one of the left overs from every last Shoppers.

Devestation.

I gathered myself, took another look at the shelf and found a replacement colour to finish the piece. And that is why this piece is entitled "Cherise Fearless 23 - 13". Seen here in process. Will be at the Junction Arts Festival.

So, to everything there is a season after all. I think we may be on to something here.
